What is International Sculpture Day?
International Sculpture Day, or IS Day, is an annual celebration event held worldwide on April 24 to further the ISC’s mission of advancing the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society.

Do I have to re-register if I participated last year?
Yes, your event information helps to make International Sculpture Day a success. Please complete our Participant Information Form.

Who can participate?
Anyone or any organization with an appreciation and commitment to the field of sculpture is invited to participate.

How do I participate?
Please complete our Participant Information Form to tell us about your event and how we can best contact you. A member of the ISC will then contact you shortly.

Do I need to be a member of the ISC to participate?
No, International Sculpture Day is open to all. However, if you are a member of the ISC, you will receive marketing and promotional support from the ISC for your event. To learn about membership please click here.

What do I do for International Sculpture Day?
All types of events are encouraged, as long as they support International Sculpture Day’s mission in celebrating sculpture. Types of events can include gallery openings, open day at museum/sculpture park, open studios tours, demonstrations, workshops, panels, talks, presentations, discussions, parties and openings, sculpture exhibits, shows, tours of collections, private and public, pop up shows, exhibitions, and much more.

I am a member of the ISC, how will you support my event for International Sculpture Day?
Members will be able to list their event on the ISC’s calendar of events on www.sculpture.org. This is an interactive, searchable calendar that allows viewers to search International Sculpture Day events in their area or by type. Members will also receive official International Sculpture Day logo and promotional text for their event.

I am not a member of the ISC, but would like to join. What types of membership does the ISC offer?
The ISC offers multiple membership tiers for individuals and organizations. Prices range from $65 to $2,500, depending on the benefits included with membership. All membership rates include 10 issues of Sculpture magazine, an international, monthly magazine dedicated to all forms of contemporary sculpture. Discounts are offered to seniors and students.

Can Universities participate in International Sculpture Day?
Absolutely. Universities are encouraged to participate and to get their students involved.

Can I do an event on a different day?
Of course. Although the official International Sculpture Day is April 24th, we encourage you to celebrate sculpture during that week

Do I get a special rate on advertising if I am a member?
Yes, ISC members receive 25% off advertising

Are all International Sculpture Day events free?
International Sculpture Day events are either free or at minimal cost, but it is up to the institution/host

Will any International Sculpture Day events be recorded?
We hope to have as much content being recorded on our website. It will depends on the resources available to the individuals and organizations participating

Where do I find the member number?
You can find your member number on your magazine label; it is the 5-digit number located in red box on the left, as pictured below, or you can contact the membership department at membership@sculpture.org or 609.689.1051 ext. 301.
