Born in 1981 into an Armenian family in Iran, Linda has been exploring the fields of art from early childhood. Her sculpting career started at “Kargah-e Honar” art workshop under the guidance of prominent Iranian sculptors.

With her great enthusiasm and interest in dance, she captures the balletic movements into delicate bony figurines. Inspired by her environment she combines the curvy lines of the sand dunes with dance movements in her recent works represented as elongated deformed dancing figures in movement.
Linda explores forms in an unexpected diverse way: sometimes more compact, sometimes a dissolving fragility, her art always remains a truly harmonic and peaceful language. This inherent drive for a dynamic balance and, maybe, the femininity can be experienced in all her works independent from the media she is working in, whether it is clay, plaster or bronze.
