Electric Kite
2006
12' x 4' x 6'
Wood, Aluminum, Plastic, Electronics, Battery

Installed at the Brandywine Realty Trust as part of a benefit auction for the Main Line Art Center in Philadelphia, PA. Pays homage to Ben Franklin, one of the original investigators of electricity, on the occasion of his three hundredth birthday. In the spirit of Franklin's resourcefulness, we must now reinvent our means of electrical production. By harnessing the energy falling to earth from the sun, we can produce all the clean, renewable energy we need.
