ABOUT ISC

The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is a member-supported, nonprofit organization founded in 1960 to champion the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. Members include sculptors, collectors, patrons, architects, developers, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, foundries, galleries, and museums—anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture.

“[Y]ou are doing an excelent job of keeping the ISC interesting and relevent
to me (the end user/artist).” — 2012, ISC Member

The Mission of the International Sculpture Center is to:

  • Expand public understanding and appreciation of sculpture internationally
  • Demonstrate the power of sculpture to educate and effect social change
  • Engage artists and arts professionals in a dialogue to advance the art form
  • Promote a supportive environment for sculpture and sculptors

Our new Strategic Plan 2010-15 outlines five goals and objectives and newly-defined values and vision to fortify the international sculpture community in the next five years and beyond.
