ARTISTS IN THE LEAD: Public Art Beyond Site, featured Renee Piechocki and Norie Sato in conversation with artists, Edith Abeyta, Buster Simpson, and Rosten Woo. This panel explored ways artists shape and change where they work and how their vision and methods might expand the definition of public art beyond a single site into the larger community. The presentation of the work/ experiences of these artists offered fascinating commentary with a concentration on place and time.
