The participation from the online sculpture community was overwhelming. #ISDAY reached all time high numbers with 48 million+ online impressions in over 35 countries.

Using hashtags to categorize Tweets and Instagram posts by keyword:
Example: It's International Sculpture day! Check out our event! #isday #sculpture.
- People use the hashtag symbol # before a relevant keyword or phrase (no spaces) in their post to categorize it and help them show more easily in a Search.
- Clicking on a hashtagged word in any message shows you all other Tweets marked with that keyword.
- Hashtags can occur anywhere in the post – at the beginning, middle, or end.
- Hashtagged words that become very popular are often Trending Topics.
