The International Sculpture Center (ISC) will hold the 29th International Sculpture Conference
in Portland, OR from October 12-15, 2019. This multi-track conference, spanning four days, will bring together an audience of artists, educators, arts administrators, museum directors, collectors, patrons, students, and sculpture enthusiasts. Conference programs will include the annual ISC littleSCULPTURE show, ARTSlams and breakout sessions, engaging panel discussions at the Portland Art Museum; evening parties, hands-on workshops; a keynote address; Portland open studios and gallery hops; and optional art and culture trips. Pre-conference tours, activities, and hands-on workshops will be held October 11th.
Annually, the International Sculpture Conference seeks to introduce working artists, arts professionals, educators, and students to new art communities and to promote dialogue on international topics in contemporary sculpture. ISC Conferences allow for great networking and educational opportunities, allowing for new connections, ideas, and possibilities in the field of sculpture.
The Call for Panels
will open January 23, 2019 for those interested in presenting a panel at the 29th International Sculpture Conference in Portland, OR. Submissions must be 200 words and include a clear but brief statement of the panel objective. All accepted submissions will be notified by May 2019. Registration will open in June 2019 and is available to ISC members, non-members, students, and all those with an interest in sculpture.
