The International Sculpture Center Celebrates its 4th International Sculpture Day with Open Artist Studios and More
The International Sculpture Center (ISC) established International Sculpture Day (IS Day) in 2015 as an annual celebration held worldwide on April's last Saturday to highlight the creation and appreciation of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. This program has been made possible through generous donations by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The inaugural International Sculpture Day brought together more than 50 events over 12 countries and an estimated audience of 30,000. #isday streams live throughout the week with an outreach of over 5 million impressions. Each year IS Day expands exponentially with a projection of 500+ events with an audience of 500,000+ in 2018.

ISC hosts its own event every year with an aim to create a connected community with the unified goal of championing sculpture. In celebration of its 4th year the ISC will be collaborating with Grounds For SculptureSeward Johnson Atelier and 20+ working sculptors (listed below) in the Motor Exhibits Building at Grounds For Sculpture. The day will consist of open studios, demonstrations, tours, an aluminum pour, sculpture hunts and more! (April 28 10AM-6PM).

It's not too late for you to open your organization's door for International Sculpture Day! Participation is worldwide, free and open to the public. Sign up before it's too late.
