ISC Members - Little Sculpture Show at 2018 ISC Conference
What Our Members Say
"I had attended an ISC conference where I connected with a public arts administrator and we talked about my work. This connection led to a large public art commission in Minneapolis. This was at that point my largest commission
and helped me greatly in my career.”
Sculptor, ISC Member
“I had applied to, and received, an artist's residency in Iceland using the Opportunities section of the ISC's Member website.”
Sculptor, ISC Member
“There has been a tremendous increase in awareness around sculpture overall in the art world and Sculpture magazine is a leading voice in fostering that awareness.”
Gallery Owner, ISC Member
“If it weren’t for Sculpture magazine a lot of sculptors would never be found. There is no other doorway to the sculpture community.”
Sculptor, ISC Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient
“I had applied to The Chicago Tree Project that was listed in ISC Opportunities in 2017 and my entry was selected. The project was also featured in Hyperallergic online magazine and WTTW the local Chicago TV station.”
Sculptor, ISC Member
“We consistently draw a deep, talented pool of qualified regional, national and international artists from which to choose for our public art opportunities and we know ISC’s Opportunities listings are a big reason why.”
Art Administrator, ISC Member
"Last summer I came across a post from the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist's Coalition in Red Hook, NY regarding their annual "Really Affordable Art Show" juried exhibition. Not only were three of my sculptures welcomed into the
show, but I received a certificate of recognition from the assistant curator of the Whitney Museum of Art, Laura Phipps. I heavily rely on the ISC Opportunities database for new and exciting connections.”
Sculptor, ISC Member
“When I asked artists for the best platforms to post for open calls they referred me to the ISC. The ISC has been promoting artists for years. The opportunities page is one of the most effective resources in my community.”
Art Gallery Consultant
“I was pleasantly surprised to see this new forum and think it's a brilliant idea...kudos to whoever thought of adding it to the membership! Looking forward to connecting with everyone.”

Who We Are
ISC members include sculptors, collectors, architects, journalists, curators, historians, critics, educators, fabricators, galleries, museums and parks & gardens – anyone with an interest in and commitment to the field of sculpture. And
to each member, the ISC offers a unique set of resources, opportunities and benefits.
No matter what our specialty might be, we all share a common interest—a love of sculpture. Whether you make, curate, collect, exhibit, or teach sculpture, the ISC has resources and connections tailored for you. Maybe you are an artist
looking for a public commission, a curator or writer looking for new artists to showcase, or a student seeking a BFA or MFA program that matches your interests. Perhaps you are an arts administrator working for a museum, gallery, or
sculpture park, seeking to connect with new audiences and raise awareness of your programs. You might be a fabricator interested in connecting artists with your services. There are thousands of people in the ISC community who are as
passionate as you in their love of sculpture, and our goal is to bring everyone together.
